What is MOPS & MomsNEXT?
MOPS stands for “Mothers of Preschoolers” and it began in 1973 when a group of moms with young children banded together to share their lives and parenting journeys. Over the past 48 years, MOPS has expanded it's community to include moms with school-aged kids (MomsNEXT). In addition, MOPS International has grown to equip and encourage moms in more than 70 countries. If you are a mom then you are welcome!
What is Grace MOPS HB like?
Our group embraces the idea that MOPS is about gathering and supporting moms of all faiths. We encourage and equip moms to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus, and in partnership with Grace Lutheran Church. Our group educates our mamas with guest speakers and MOPS curriculum, offers childcare, fellowship that creates a bond of sisterhood to empower and support, service opportunities and so much more.
How do I join Grace MOPS HB?
Visit our registration page for more information on joining. You are able to try out your first meeting for free (please RSVP) or fully register if you are ready. Childcare is available based on first come first serve registration order. Moms with children of any age (not just preschoolers) are welcome to join. Our group meets (almost) every Thursday September thru May and has informal playdates during our off months. If you are finding us during the summer then see our upcoming events for playdates.
